So I wonder if anything new happened in professional wrestling in the last 3 weeks, I've been out of the loop.  I bet it's just a heppy friendly little sport I've always known it to be, without any troubles or problems, or real life situations getting in the mix.  Lets just TiVo this, here we go.  Oh I see Chris Benoit died...well atleast they are doing a tribute.  It's good to see that they care about their own.....do dee do do....

Who me?

Heh, I just find the case to be rather strange.  I can't figure out a motive or a reason for him to do anything he did.  Killing your entire family for no reason at all just doesn't cut it.  Something is missing in the story.

It's just hard to find the real stuff- too often it's the processed shit - as I get older I'm finding more and more I want real meats and cheeses - the processed stufff tastes very greasy - almost like you weremixing wax nad meat or wax and chees - a bad consistency and taste. I've nottouched 'cheez-whiz ' in 10 years, although my kids swear by it...bleech!

Because everyone has moved it.

Because the supermarkets have higher profit margin on the processed stuff like the cheez whiz, velveeta, and the processed cheese slices than the real stuff. Conversley, it's also more expensive to make real cheese than the processed stuff, so the supermarkets sell more of the cheaper stuff since that is what most consumers buy.

Hmm. Dunno what the supermarkets look like where you are, but here in Uncensoredland the larger supermarkets have a nice selection of real cheeses, including a number of gourmet varieties.

I had this neat thought the other day:

There's lots of channels, and there's nothing to watch, and it's all stupid TV shows like survivorman who doesn't actually survive all that much...
and it suddenly occurred to me, that tv as a whole, has jumped the shark.

I wonder what the next thing will be.

What makes you say Les on Survivorman doesn't survive all that much?

Having spent a lot of time hunting and fishing as a kid, I can say that his show is one of the more realistic shows I've ever seen. There was some other "survivor" type show that was horrible. If you listened to that guy, you'd get yourself killed.

All things said, I think television jumped the shark long ago.

I'd rather watch a DvD of my favorite shows and cut out all the crap, than to spend an absurd amount of money monthly on mostly crap.

The internet has been rather a nice phenomenon, though.

"Jump the shark" jumped the shark already.
