Maybe a little of both.

This whole sordid thing fills me with revulsion.

'*BARF'* implies the meal you ate was simply a light snack.

'*WHARF*' implies the meal you ate was a Thanksgiving Extravaganza.

I'm getting close to finishing the first episode of Heros.

Beautiful camera work, and an interesting adaptation of the comic-book hero to live-action.

do you have that on DVD? If so, please bring it. I haven't been keeping up with it.

I do not have it on DVD.

However, I have it on my computer. And I'm sure I have enough room on my iPod for all the episodes. The trick is, getting it from the iPod to the televsion. I may have something for that, too.

The cable that came with your iPod? Goes from the headphone jack to 3 RCA cables. Also the iPod dock has an 1/8" inch line out and svideo out on it.

I have the iPod dock... I'm thinking I should bring it with me when I go to visit my sister.

It's a good plan. Take an svideo cable and make sure your sister lives near a electronics store. (If not you'll just have to pick up her house and everything and move it somewhere else for this to work) but make sure a place that sells SVid to RCA or Coax boxes exist in case her TV was built before 1982 or something.

I think you need to buy your sister an iPod and put it on there for her so she can see it on her own iPod.

yeah, the iPod should be able to go directly to TV without the dock. The cable
is a standard 1/8" minijack-3xRCA. However... on the iPod, under the "Video"
menu, make sure "TV Out" is either "On" or "Ask", and "TV Signal" is "NTSC"
(assuming north america).

The 1/8"-RCA is a generic cable... if you have a videocamera, you probably have
one. If not, don't buy Apple's overpriced cable, go to an electronics store
and pick one up.
