Jean-Luc Picard would kick James Tiberius "Jim" Kirk's ass.

And Captian Pike would kick both their asses from this wheel chair.

Captain Nemo would outmaneuver and outhink both of them. Imagine what he could do with a starship. (No, I'm not writing fanfic no matter how much you beg me. Just give me the fabulous prizes.)

However, since he finds their lack of faith disturbing, he may just choke them from afar.

If he finds lack of faith disturbing, I'd like to hire him to force-choke the militant and obnoxious atheists.

Not all atheists ... just the Curly Surmudgeon types who are constantly proselytizing.

constantly proselytizing.

True Story:

Several years ago I was walking through the Italian Market in South Philadelphia with this friend of mine who just happened to be an atheist. While we were standing on the corner waiting for a light to change, this muscle car type thing came down the street and just after it passed where we were standing it back-fired. Loud Bang - quite startling.

My athiest friend let out immediately with "Jesus Christ, Almighty!"
To which I responded "exactly what I've been trying to tell you for years!"

Funny? Yes.
True? Also Yes.

Wouldn't the exhaust port act as thrust?

[#] Thu Feb 13 2014 13:24:45 EST from IGnatius T Foobar @ Uncensored

Well there's also the issue of whether venting exhaust at all is a good idea for a battle station that is permanently in space. The station would be losing pressure at a fairly high rate of speed if it doesn't have a fresh air intake.

What kind of energy does the Death Star's core run on, anyway? I can't imagine they've got a diesel engine in there. It's got to be some sort of nuclear reactor. How do you run one of those in space without a supply of cooling water? The empty vacuum of space is *not* an effective thermal discharge.

Vader does most certainly excrete. If he eats, he excretes. I heard from a very reliable source that Vader is particularly fond of Penne Alla Arrabiata.
