just let there be as much upheaval and suckitude in cowchip quarters as possible :) My team will be putting its first player in the HOF this weekend so I'm happy. Even if they have a crazy Sun Devil who leaves people at the altar at QB now. [see, I can be objective :) ]

Subject: Carter

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

It was on the (sigh) msn page. Carter failed a drug test. If some other players get caught, I will not be surprised. It seems FDA is banning pro-hormone supplements from public sale. The reason I didn't go into athletic training is all the dope players use. And everyone is supposed to turn a blind eye to it. At least on some teams. It shows Parcells is putting his foot down, when the coaching/management needed to do that some time ago. The baseball steroid situation is a firecracker waiting to go off.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT.
Words cannot describe how *FUCKING COOL* that is.

Only lasted about two bucks, but these bulls were good stock... a few of them have been bucked out at PBR and PRCA rodeos. He was a bit of a chute fighter getting on him... holy shit.

I'll get some pics up here when I get my cam out and synched.
I'm gonna be sore tomorrow, I can already feel it... definately a bruise on my upper right arm, probably a few on my leg from when he leaned against the side of the chute (with my leg between him and it), my left chest hurts, my left shoulder hurts... man, it was sooo worth it.

Anyone want to join my fantasy football league? It's through Yahoo and the computer does all the "drudge" work. You just set your player rankings and it holds an autodraft according to those ratings. Great opportunity to show off your football knowledge, trash talk weekly, etc.

If you'd like to join, follow the yahoo links to Fantasy Football and select "Join an Existing League"

My league ID is 121150 and the password is ffl2004. Thanks!

Well the Mets're hurtin' bad tonight (yeah yeah...all season I know but...)

Tom Glavine was in a car accident. Nothing life threatening, but dunno what the details are yet.
Mike Piazza had an MRI on his knee today.
Matsui has back spasms (no big loss, THERE).

True.. But David Wright hit another home run and the Metsies beat the Astros. I was quite pleased.

I usually root for the Charlotte Knights. I like minor league baseball, and dislike the local team in Hickory. The management has this anal retentive problem.

The Bears pulled off a major coup. They got Ogunleye from Miami, who is one of the best pass rushers in the freaking NFL, for Marty Booker, who wasn't doing all that much for them.

Hugh Douglas goes back to the Eagles on a one year deal.

Deion Sanders will become a Raven by the season opener, pending a physical.

If this isn't a big indication the NFL and the owners are all about money, here's a paragraph from the Saints-Dolphins game last night:

With Hurricane Frances headed toward Florida, the Miami players asked the NFL to cancel the game, but the league refused. Its only concession was to move the starting time up 30 minutes.

We wouldn't want the owners to lose a preseason game, just because of a little hurricane threatening life and property in Florida. Sheesh.

I knew that, wizard. Still, family comes first, and I think the NFL could have cancelled last night's game. It was a preseason game.

So all the MLB players who have family who live in FLorida should be able to not play as well. I'm nto saying that some thought about not playing should've been given. And if players needed to be excused due to dealing with their family problems let them go.. But remember, lots of those players do not live in Florida either.. I think it's not quite as cut and dried an issue as it's being presented.
