I want to know why "The catholic church is against gay marriage" is worse than, "All gays must die."  Liberals will condone the first statement and defend the second statement.

For too many reasons, nightclubs will always be vulnerable to this sort of thing. There will never be an argument for carry, either concealed or open, to be permitted by the owners of a nighclub.

It follows that the usual arguments of the pro-gun crowd do not work here; you're not going to have a bunch of partygoers packing heat to transform themselves from "sort targets" into "hard targets." It's simply not compatible with the scene.

So the NRA doesn't have the answer. An overt, Trumpishly retarded ban on all new Muslim immigration is also going to backfire.

Liberal gun control policies might have prevented this, maybe at the cost of moving the problem somewhere else.

Both sides are wrong, and both sides need to stop making political hay out of a tragedy. Shameful.

The speech given Monday evening by Donald Trump was bold and very well chosen.
Political correctness is part of what is (deliberately) killing us, and he is right to point out that we need to take a decisive stand against radical islamic terrorism. He is correct that we need to pause immigration from nations that source radical islamic terrorism (which the media continues to misreport as "all muslims"). The way he lovingly reached out to LGBT citizens proves that all Republicans are not the bigots that liberals make them out to be.

And it was *awesome* that he revoked the Washington Compost's press credentials.
After all, if they're going to just make shit up out of thin air, they don't actually need to attend the press conferences.

I love trolling the ultra-liberal America-hating Bush/Cruz/Clinton campaign site called "National Review."

And I really don't understand why they haven't perma-banned me from the site.
Every now and then a moderator will delete everything I've posted and put in some sort of flag that auto-deletes anything I post for the next two days or so. But then I can post again. It makes no sense.

Word has it that Paul Ryan is handling the negotiations for this year's presidential debates. He and the DNC have agreed that all of the debates will be aired on MSNBC, will take place in Dearborn MI, and will be moderated by Rosie O'Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, and Michael Moore.

Ted Cruz heard the news and he applauded their "conservative principles"

You make it sound as if there is no difference between the two parties.

Yes, only Trump can save us from the one-party system. I read that in Art of the Deal.

The conventional wisdom is that it's really a one-party system masquerading as a two-party system.  I'd go a step further and call it a zero-party system, because if there were actually one party, citizens would be able to join that party and have some input to its activities.  That's clearly not the case.  Trump pulled it off using 30 years of building his personal brand and a few million dollars of his own money.  Most of us don't have those resources available to us.

By the way, I haven't read Art of the Deal.  But I have read a book that Trump says is even better :)

You should read Art of the Deal.

Trump will tell you exactly his campaign strategy if you pay attention.

Really.  You see he was just lying, manipulating and doing what he had to do as a business man.  He would NEVER do that as a politician.  Really.

I'm familiar with that routine.  Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz both lied about being Tea Party Constitutionalists to get elected, but then were discovered to be 100% Bush Equivalent establishment types.

You are a funny guy.  I can't tell if it is all a joke and you have Sanders signs in the front yard of your house or if you are trying to convince yourself that Trump is the answer.  Very well played.

Zooer, rest assured I will join you in the Fatalist DontBotherVoting Party if Mr. Trump loses the election, or wins and doesn't deliver the goods. In the mean time I like Trump's platform, and I'm supporting his campaign and hoping he delivers. If I'm wrong, the republic was already dead to begin with, so I have nothing to lose.

Okay, you want to believe.  I will tell you what, if Trump wins, and if he delivers I will publicly tell you I am sorry and take you out for a cheese steak sandwich or wings at the Anchor Bar in buffalo.   It has to be because of his work, and his vision.

Hope springs eternal.
