I love trolling the ultra-liberal America-hating Bush/Cruz/Clinton campaign site called "National Review."

Word has it that Paul Ryan is handling the negotiations for this year's presidential debates. He and the DNC have agreed that all of the debates will be aired on MSNBC, will take place in Dearborn MI, and will be moderated by Rosie O'Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, and Michael Moore.

Ted Cruz heard the news and he applauded their "conservative principles"

You make it sound as if there is no difference between the two parties.

Yes, only Trump can save us from the one-party system. I read that in Art of the Deal.

The conventional wisdom is that it's really a one-party system masquerading as a two-party system.  I'd go a step further and call it a zero-party system, because if there were actually one party, citizens would be able to join that party and have some input to its activities.  That's clearly not the case.  Trump pulled it off using 30 years of building his personal brand and a few million dollars of his own money.  Most of us don't have those resources available to us.

By the way, I haven't read Art of the Deal.  But I have read a book that Trump says is even better :)

You should read Art of the Deal.

Trump will tell you exactly his campaign strategy if you pay attention.

Lie to get what you want. Do what you wanted to do once you get it.

Oh no, it will really really really be different this time!  A friend of the Clintons would never lie.

Really.  You see he was just lying, manipulating and doing what he had to do as a business man.  He would NEVER do that as a politician.  Really.

I'm familiar with that routine.  Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz both lied about being Tea Party Constitutionalists to get elected, but then were discovered to be 100% Bush Equivalent establishment types.

You are a funny guy.  I can't tell if it is all a joke and you have Sanders signs in the front yard of your house or if you are trying to convince yourself that Trump is the answer.  Very well played.

Zooer, rest assured I will join you in the Fatalist DontBotherVoting Party if Mr. Trump loses the election, or wins and doesn't deliver the goods. In the mean time I like Trump's platform, and I'm supporting his campaign and hoping he delivers. If I'm wrong, the republic was already dead to begin with, so I have nothing to lose.

Okay, you want to believe.  I will tell you what, if Trump wins, and if he delivers I will publicly tell you I am sorry and take you out for a cheese steak sandwich or wings at the Anchor Bar in buffalo.   It has to be because of his work, and his vision.

Hope springs eternal.

You mean that big $69,000 contribution from GS, or the personal loan he took out?

Because if you're talking about less than $70,000, which is a fraction of the money GS paid to Hillary for a speech, then you're nuts. He raised over $100 million dollars between 2011 and 2016. The GS contribution is a blip on the radar screen.
