Doesn't sound like an establishment guy to me.

You sound like Ron Paul.

No problem with that, I like Ron Paul. In fact, I think Donald Trump should put Ron Paul in charge of the Federal Reserve./

Or scrub the toilets at Mar-a-Lago.

I will take it, I used to live about four miles from his place.  I remember the liberals complaining the American flag he had outside of Mar-a-lago was too large.  Something funny I noticed was that if you look at Google Maps reviews of the place apparently it has had more visitors that have given reviews in the past few months then in the entire history of Google Map reviews.  Strangely enough there are either five star reviews or one star reviews with horrible comments.

I think it is cute how Mr. Foobar believe a politician will somehow make his life better, he believe so strongly in the state.

I hate Clinton with a passion. So I get falling in line behind Trump, as he seems less evil.

But actually thinking he's a conservative in any way is delusional.

Would you have voted for David Bush-French if he had accepted Bill KKKristol's request to run third party?

The lesser of two evils is still evil.  If you vote for evil, expect to get evil.

Zooer - Doesn't really matter.... It may be true, but there is no viable alternative.

Tick tock. Today is the filing deadline for third party ballot access in another state, North Carolina. Texas was May 9. The window is starting to close for anyone who thinks they want to mount a challenge to Mr. Trump from the perpetual-fail wing of the GOP.

(For some, the window has already slammed shut. For example, Ted Bush-Cruz is ineligible because Texas has a "sore loser law" that applies to presidential candidates .)

Really? Just why is that, exactly?

Because RD & IG are "evil"?

This is verging on becoming inappropriately personal

Settle down Francis, how about, "Society always gets the government it deserves."?  I never said they were evil, I didn't make the quote up in has been around since the 1800s, maybe before.

I think I need to wear my glasses when I post here, or at least get them adjusted.  I can not find the sweet spot for reading text on my monitor.  That or go back to the text client.

The Tytler Cycle is fairly well documented, and it's pretty clear which part of it we're on.

But as someone really really smart recently pointed out: the corrupt system will never be fixed by the people who created it and benefit from it.

Funny - just six months ago he was called the most hated man in
Congress.

If being hated by the establishment is the litmus test for conservatism, then Trump is the single most conservative candidate in modern history.

Like I said though, I'm not looking for the most hard-line conservative, and neither are most voters, apparently. You know I've always had nationalist tendencies, and Trump's platform echoes positions I've held for a long time.

So if he doesn't follow through on that platform, shame on him, but the idea that he's some sort of crypto-socialist is a bit tinfoil hatted.
