This team?

I have already posted pictures of the Clintons at Trumps third wedding.

What a team!

If you guys actually listened to Trump instead of the caricature of Trump painted by the Bush/Cruz/Clinton aligned media, you would know that he openly talks about hobnobbing with politicians of all stripes, and that it's a necessary part of doing business.

Anyway, it doesn't matter to me (nor to most sensible Americans).  We are not voting republican or conservative; we are voting Trump.

I see, you are one of those people... if you question something you MUST be part of the other side.  Just like those crazy liberals... birds of a feather flock together.  It is part of that vast-right wing conspiracy!

If a politician's B.S. excuses for their misdeeds satisfy you that is all any politician can ask for.  You can accept and repeat more excuses when they don't live up to your dreams.

For a business man to do, within the bounds of legality, that which must be done to promote the ongoing profitability of the business is not only ethical but required.

A business man is responsible to the bottom-line, and through that, to the shareholders.

Much as it will pain you to addmit that, TRUMP DID NOTHING WRONG. Period.

(laughing)  The only pain I am feeling is the sadness that this is the best we can do as Americans, as the human race?  These idiots are who we choose to lead us, that is the only pain I feel.

Of course cronyism works and accepted in business, he had to do what he needed to do.  And if and when he is president he will continue that tradition of cronyism and back room deals.  Every president does it.  It just depends on if you like the deal makes and the benefactors.  Trump is no different.  He may be an idiot, but he is OUR idiot!  Wooooot!

IGnatius is using the old "Us vs Them" attitude. "My team is better than their team!"  it sounds stupid.... not that sounding stupid will stop him from saying it.

The system is a joke, yes a painful joke... and you somehow think that the skies will open up and some one will come along and fix everything if we just vote for him.  (or her in this election)

zooer, I appreciate that you don't see Mr. Trump as a departure from politics-as-usual, but I have yet to see you suggest a practical alternative. The fatalist option of "they all suck, don't bother" is real, but it isn't really debatable.

And yes, I do see everyone who opposes my candidate of choice as a unified bloc ... because they *are*.

not only ethical but required.

In some parts of the world (Russia for example) businesses allocate the bribery of all relevant officials as a matter-of-fact part of their operating budgets.
It's just how business is done.

In the United States it's done just as much, but disguised as "charitable" donations to PACs and such. Soft money. It's a normal part of doing business.
Mr. Trump is quite honest about the fact that as a businessman he of course had to play that game. I would rather see him being honest about it, instead of trying to lie about it (which is what folks like Romney would do).

If he's smart he'll pick Newt Gingrich.

Trump is also starting to edge out Cunton in more polls. So much for the Bush/Cruz narrative that Trump is not electable.

1. Kasich as VP - guarantees Ohio, without which Republican victory in the Electoral College becomes a nailbiting struggle.

Between those two, I will stick with my original choice made over a month ago, and that is Kasich.

Newt brings baggage; Kasich brings Ohio.

Kasich also brings a hail of bullets from assassins working for the Bush/Cruz/Clinton/Romney/Goldman/Sachs/Satan/Hitler set, who will be more than happy to eliminate the Real American in order to get "their" guy sitting in the Oval Office.
