Oh, and the New York values statement.... Cruz wasn't winning New York
anyway, and everyone who heard that knew exactly what he meant. They typical New York liberal.

Do any of these details make a difference? Not in the slightest. All

you're saying here is "Vote for Hillary"

No. Like I said earlier - there is NO WAY I'm voting for Hillary. And if it comes down to it, I'll pull the lever for Trump.

But make no mistake - Trump is not a Conservative in any sense. He's simply the lesser of two evils. And unfortunately, he's such a wild card, I'm not even sure by how much.

Yes, a welcome change... but the Trump kids would be annoying.

Ivanka is incredibly bright. Don't see her as annoying in the least. Of all thr Trump kids, the only one I dislike is Tiffany, his daughter with Marla Maples. She's as dumb as a stump.

None of this matters. The time for "principled conservatives" to bash Trump is over. From now until November, Trump bashing benefits no one but the democrats.
No matter how much George Soros is paying the editors of National Review to try to convince you otherwise.

The lesser of two evils is still evil, if you vote for evil, expect to get evil.

Good men don't wish to rule over others.

We'll make a zooer write-in campaign. We'll draft you - you don't get a choice, everybody just writes you in whether you like it or not.

Who knows, in the current climate this might actually work.

Then you'd get to hate yourself too.

I'd say until he's official after the convention. Even if he had the 1237 delegates, it's still no guarantee.....

A much bigger issue is whether there is a third party run of someone like Kasich.

Regardless, the GOP is dead.

It's true.  I have no doubt that the Bush/Cruz team is still going to try some underhanded parliamentary douchebaggery to try and steal the nomination away from Trump, even if he has 1,237+ delegates.

I would have you as my surgeon general.

Cancel Inauguration day festivities.  Stream it, broadcast the five minute thing and get to work.  The public shouldn't have to pay for that crap.

First order of business, 100% pay cuts for all politicians, you are a public servant, serve.  A ninety percent pay cut for your staff.

Second order of business, term limits, no more life long politicians. Two terms. If you have already served two terms, you are done when I sign the executive order.

No more new laws until we get rid of some of the foolish old laws.

We get rid of the nice comfortable senate and house chambers.  From now on all government business will be done outside in the national mall.  Politicians will be placed in locks and stocks while congress is in session.

Better yet, all work will be performed with video conferencing from the congress critter's home district office.

I still have to think about my "Topless Tuesdays" idea.  Might offend some people.  Maybe if I call it "Free the breast Friday for feminism" they will accept it.

Trump calls the rules as underhanded - as opposed to trying to work with them....
He's the worst sort of politician. He just whines when he doesn't get his way. Sounds an awful like the guy in office today.

The rules *are* underhanded. Ironically, the rules were amended the last time around, as an effort by the Bush/Clinton team to proactively derail an insurgent challenger to the pre-ordained RINO frontrunner. They weren't counting on the insurgent *being* the frontrunner.

They came up short. So short, in fact, that the Bush/Clinton team had to keep their weakest players (Cruz and Rubio) in the game as a desperate last-ditch effort to win under their own underhanded rules. They are undoubtedly still scheming, which is why Trump would be well served by having way more than 1,237 delegates. He needs to not only win, but also win by a margin larger than that by which Bush/Cruz can cheat. This will be even more true in November.

And let's all agree without a doubt that Bill Kristoll needs to be assraped with a chainsaw.

It's funny - Cruz is so far from Bush, linking them is just silly.

Trump whines, but some of the rules in different States have been there for decades, not some recent underhanded moves to shut people out.

And Cruz had the second most delegates, so calling him a weak player is also silly.

You can be a Trump fan-boi (although I don't know why you would - he's probably more closely aligned with Clinton than you'd ever imagine... He also contributed lots of cash to both her and her husband) but I don't get the Cruz hatred at all.

Oh - and if you want to see underhanded, look at the super-delegates of the Democrats......

Who will be Trump's VP?

I think Hillary with be Trump's VP.

Well, it won't be someone from the Bush/Cruz establishment set, because that pretty much guarantees an assassination attempt.

That's the problem, really ... the office is called "Vice President" but it's really just a "Backup President." So it has to be someone platform-compatible with the person at the top of the ticket, someone who won't upstage the president or get him killed, but at the same time not be so undesirable as to ruin the ticket for the election.

Chris Christie is probably a good fit. He has the same "screw you, we're going to get shit done" kind of attitude as Trump.

The cabinet can be set up after the election is in the bag. Sarah Palin as energy secretary (with the job of dismantling the DoE), Ron Paul as Fed chairman (with the job of dismantling it), etc. etc. etc.

If he's smart he'll pick Newt Gingrich.

Since he's not, I'm going to say it'll probably be a woman, since he's already damaged goods amongst woman voters. Maybe Susana Martinez. Governor of New Mexico and is hispanic.

He's also damaged goods among female VP possibilities. I'd see Christie as the most likely choice, except Trump might need someone from the South, Midwest, or West.
