It's true. Actually it was that psychotic bitch Barbara Streisand who promised to move to Israel if Bush was elected. Typical of her hypocrisy, she not only didn't leave, but also continued to maintain her mega-mansion by the sea while telling everyone else to be green.

Anyway, I'd love to see more communists go so apoplectic that their heads explode. Trump in the White House with Sarah Palin in a cabinet position might just do that. (And I do believe that Trump knows Palin is the right person for a high-ranking position in a get-it-done administration, but he needs to keep his distance from her until after the election.)

Heh - Sarah Palin would be a good pick.
As would Trey Goudy as Attorney General.

No need to appoint a Secretary of Education - just eliminate the entire department. As a side note - the US would save countless billions of dollars by eliminating all involement in K-12 at the federal level. This would include federal involvement in school lunches, and federally mandated standardized testing.

I can tell you, based on my 31 years teaching in the public high school(s) in central NJ that simply eliminating federal "standards" and testing would lengthen the school year by roughly 28 days without TOUCHING the calendar. That is how much class time is ***wasted*** on that crap. Plus it would give teachers more time for lesson planning, research, etc. Imagine that - paying teachers to TEACH instead of being the fed's "representative" in the classroom. What a concept!

Personal Example: by not having to prep the kids and then have them stolen from my classroom for countless days taking mandated standardized tests, I would have actually had enough time to teach my kids the full basic background in General Relativity (AP Physics) along with the foundational math for differential manifolds (tensor calculus - APCalc was a pre/co-requisite for my course). Now ***that*** would have been fun!!

BTW - it would be me that would have to teach "my kids" the introductory tensor calculus stuff in AP Physics. The math department could not handle it. After Algebra II most of them were lost, and only one could handle Calculus - and not very well.

Yes - this was one of the reasons I got everything I wanted for my Physics programs - I was really the only one in the entire district that knew, and could teach, the Truly Hard Stuff.

Frankly, I'm surprised that the pledge didn't read "I pledge allegiance to Karl Rove."

Federal agencies that should be eliminated ... definitely the Department of Education ... also the Department of Energy, which was originally created to oversee the removal of our dependence on foreign energy sources. Nowadays its purpose seems to be to make sure our domestic energy sources are hobbled as much as possible so that we have to continue buying oil from Obama's fellow muslimterrorists.

The FCC should be cut down to maybe a tenth of its current size.

And that's just for starters.

The FCC should be cut down to maybe a tenth of its current size.

As a licensed radio amateur since 1966 (49 years on Dec 30) I do not agree with the "tenth its current size."

It takes more than that to do what they should and are supposed to be doing - enforcing the regulations.

I agree that the over-reach beyond the Communications Act of 1934 As Amended has been both horrendous and obscene, but if we go back to the way things were as recently as 1990 I think we'd all still be happy/happier than we are today.

Cutting staff? No. Eliminating staff in the offices? No.

1. return the Amateur Extra Class exam to "must take at an FCC field office" and remove that exam from the Volunteer Examiner system. I personally know of several "Amateur Extra" license holders that DO NOT KNOW A FUCKING THING about electronics or ham radio - they took/passed the exam by repetition of practice tests until it was all memorized. The "old" Extra exam had at least three "problems" or "short essays" that needed to be "written out" or solved and graded by hand - by the FCC Examiner HimSelf.

2. re-instate the 20 wpm code requirement for Extra Class ***only***. That would also be administered at the FCC office.

3. Increase the number of field agents for investigation and enforcement. Such areas as power-line interference, etc. almost always need FCC intervention to get utility companies to fix a problem.

In short, there are many similar areas. Yes - get rid of the beaurocratic bullshit, but don't necessarily *shrink* the FCC - just get it doing that for which it was intended.

Oh - and get rid of "net neutrality" which is neither "neutral" nor helpful to any "network" (inter- or otherwise) but nothing more than a not-so-thinly veiled backdoor allowing B. HUSSEIN Obama's hench-critters to "go where nobody ever should go" </StarTrekReference> [B [C

John McAfee, that's right THAT McAfee is thinking of running for President.

After reading the comments on FoxNews I see he might be a great candidate.

Gad - you folks in NY have legislators that are even dumber than the crap we have here in CA.

Who'da ever thunk that.... <evil grin>

So you end up with at least these results:

1. Some shops go out of business entirely

2. Others get robots to replace the workers, now that it's comparatively cheaper. (Look for unions and other lefties to begin working on robot taxes once that becomes obvious.)

3. Workers -- and this is happening already in places like SF who are a bit ahead of us on this one -- begin asking for fewer hours, now that they're paid too much to qualify for that big tasty government check.

Cuomo and DeBlasio are big supporters of abortion. I wholeheartedly urge their mothers to kill them.

Anyone watch the "debate" last night?  About the only thing unexpected was that CNN made the Fox News debate look like amateur hour.  Aside from that, it was pretty much all predictable:

  1. CNN changed the rules regarding who could be in the debate, so that Carly Fiorina could be in it.  This was done in the hope that they could paint anything Donald Trump said to her as misogynistic.
  2. The questions were designed to incite a Trump/Fiorina trading-barbs-fest.
  3. All the pundits say Fiorina won the debate.
  4. All the viewers (polls etc) say Trump won the debate.
  5. Jeb W. Common Core Open Borders Liberal Democrat Bush might as well have been a no-show.

Ironically, I think the democrat debates will be more interesting.  Hitlery, Bernie, and Biden?  Bring on the clown show!

It's so nice to have been unwillingly added to some spam list that all of the candidates have purchased. I frequently get emails from them asking for money. It's so nice to be able to write back to them and tell them why they don't have my vote.

Just this morning I got an email from Marco Rubio, the personal attendant of Mark Zuckerburg, urging me to vote against the establishment. I replied that I agree with him and that's why he doesn't get my vote.

My favorite question was the question about picking your own Secret Service nickname.  A very in-depth question and it addresses the problems with this country.  The biggest problem is we have shitty leaders.

I want a leader that doesn't need to shit. I want a shitless leader.

Current attempts to breed a shitless leader has, to date, created leaders who get stopped up with shit that spews from the other end. This really isn't quite what I'm looking for in a leader.

I want a leader that doesn't need to shit.

I also got emails from Ted Cruz (good but not electable), Scott Walker (oops), and today, Carly Fiorina (who ruined HP) asking me to donate money to their campaigns. It's so much fun to write back to them.

I know the emails are being read by campaign staffers and not by the candidates themselves, but it's still fun to make their heads explode by telling them how much I love the idea of Donald Trump winning the nomination.

And really, that's the goal. I doubt anyone can fix the country at this point; it's already in the shitter. So I want a leader that makes as many establishment elite heads explode as possible. If I could decide the general election all by myself, I'd put Sarah Palin in charge just to make people go apoplectic and drop dead in NYC and DC.

Outside of presidential politics, I hear there's also a growing movement to unseat John Boehner (D - Obama's Ass) from his position as speaker of the house. I hope that goes well.

I think most Republicans can agree he made the pary look weak, and it started with his crying.  They are probably getting rid of him because he wount play ball with the rest of the party, by shutting down the government to stop funding planed parenthood.
