No, zooer, it didn't.

IG got it right.

Of course there have been cracks forming in the foundation for decades. After the Cold War ostensibly "ended" the communists quietly set about infiltrating media and academia. It took many years, but if you have to name a specific date as a bookend, you can't go wrong with the date when the liberal media successfully installed an openly communist saboteur in the White House.

They have infiltrated academia and the media long before the cold war ended.

It that animation, so they replaced one flag of oppression, inequality and supremacy with another flag of
oppression, inequality and supremacy.

So are we going to watch the debate on Thursday evening?

Normally I don't bother with them, but this one's shaping up to be The Donald Trump Show, so hopefully it'll be entertaining. I'm hoping that we see The Donald absolutely wipe the floor with Jeb Communist Core Open Borders Destroy America Hitler Bush.

I can't wait to hear how terrible they all are and then be told I *MUST* vote for one of them in 2016.

I changed my voter registration to Republican last year so I can vote in the primaries. In a deep blue state it's pretty much the only way I can have any meaningful vote at all.

In most races, particularly the ones for congress, it's too bad I can't select "push the damn reset button and start over"

Yeah, I once became a republican because I thought voting in the primaries would make a difference. How how I
look back and laugh and laugh at my ignorant innocence.

and by laugh I mean weep uncontrollably in the fetal position.

Comments on tonight's republican debate:

1. Trump was, as expected, awesome, despite FOX News' best attempts to derail him at the request of Karl Rove.

2. All of the other candidates were quite good, and worthy to hold the office, except for Jeb W. Common Core Open Borders Liberal Democrat Bush, who is a piece of garbage who needs to die in a car fire before he can lose to Hitlery.

That having been said, I did record the debate and will watch it soon.

So Loanshark was too busy watching the Kardashian twitter feed for Hillary pictures to pay attention and Ignat
is too foolish to know that Trump is a good friend of the Clintons and what a liberal nut Trump is.

It is going to be a long year.

Paleoconservative/right-anarchist trope of the decade: call EVERYONE a liberal. Cuz you can't tell the difference.

Compared to a paleoconservative, everyone else *is* a liberal.

More accurately though, the "both parties are the same" trope is more accurate than ever. Both are beholden to the same monied interests and political establishment.
Both would rather lose the general election instead of allowing a non-establishment candidate (Trump or Sanders) to appear on their ballot.

I will vote for either Trump(R) or Trump(I), whichever one appears on the ballot, because he's not *THEM*.

If there's no Trump at all, I'd rather vote for Sanders(D) than Bush(R).

And of course the real reason Trump is the best candidate out there, is because he's the only one who has actively trash-talked Rosie O'Donnell.

In NY the Green Party candidate for governor did so well in the last election the green party now has ballot
access. People are well aware the two parties merged and are looking for something different.

The left has no problem moving further to the left, the right follows. Two wings of the same bird of prey.

Interestingly, the "grassroots left" has the same complaint, but their boy is Bernie Sanders instead of Donald Trump.

Bernie Sanders is a self admited socialist. Does this mean liberals can stop pretending they are not
socialists?

Sanders ceased to be a socialist a long time ago. He's a career politician. Seriously: he's never had any other meaningful employment. That's a fact.

Maybe he's playing at socialism, but he certainly doesn't support the collective ownership of the means of production (you know, the definition of socialism) any more than anyone else on the Democratic ticket.

btw, I'm not a Sanders supporter. He's a jerk.

Today is the 54th anniversary of the start of construction on the Berlin Wall which, when done, was a 6 ft high concrete/cinderblock wall, 96 miles long, with limited passageways, gun turrets, etc. etc. etc.

Hmmm...

If any of those builders are still around, I can think of a job they could do in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California... <evil grin>

One of the reasons why the Berlin Wall worked so well for the Russians is because the Russians were
willing to kill people who tried to cross.

A fence on the Mexico/U.S. border is useless because neither side wants to kill the people crossing it.

Ahhh I was correct, he is too far to the right for you.

Whenever I see a picture of Sanders he always looks like a crazed angry man. His face is angry, his hair is a
mess, and he really has an annoying accent.

Then I look at Trump...
