"Fava" beans.

The neighbor woman has a clutch of cats. Way. way too many. One mama cat is now finsihed nursing her second litter and they still havce two from the previous. If she'd keep them indoors I couldn't care less but they're eating the native wildlife.

If she doesn't get rid of some sone I'll do it for her.

Sure cats do, Wolves, Dogs, large cats (bobcats), some predatory birds (eagles, hawks, etc).

Gators ??

Cats might be too fast for gators to catch.

Gators (or is it crocks?) lay below the surface of the water waiting for the prey animal to come to the pool and take a drink, then they move very quickly and grab the prey animal in their jaws. I'm not sure which would be the faster one - the gator (or crock) or the cat who is to be lunch.

My cat Sillyman, the one whom I thought had skin cancer, which the vet said was not, developed a nasty limp in his left rear leg towards the end of last month. He's had arthritis for years. We had to put both a chair and an overturned milk crate next to the foot of the bed so that he can get up on the bed by stages. He can't jump that high anymore.

Well turns out the limp went away on it's own so now those funds can go elsewhere.

Our other two cats are fine.

I'm getting rid of Bo, he killed a neighbors sheep last night.

Sniff...

I'm sorry to hear that. I always heard that once they start killing sheep you can't break them of the habit.

That's my understanding too. I won't endanger my neighbors property to find out either.

Are you giving Bo away to a home without livestock nearby or euthanizing him or what ??

Just curious.

Trying to find a new home before shooting him. In good consciousness I can't hire out murder. This is horrid, Bo has lived with me since he was 34 days old. Once a dog has the taste of blood from the hunt it can't be trained out.

Good luck on the search, and I mean that sincerely, not sarcastically.

Thank you. It's pleasant not having my every word intentionally misrepresented.

Oso stays around hte house, I hope he doesn't engage in the same intolerable behavior. When I return I'll get him a new companion, a female.
