I have heard single songs that were recorded nad played on the air, but not entire concerts (although they might be broadcasted at times I wouldn't be listening to the radio).  I think I heard some bits from teh Mike Doughy show (another one I didn't win) a couple of times.

Love Me Tender, as sung very badly by some Swedish band.

or should I say muzak.

Anybody remember muzak? the satellite company?
well I was at a rastaurant the other day and heard a song on the stereo and asked the waiter about it and he said it was muzak and they had no information.
well.... it;s been probably 12 years since my last call to muzak, but IThought I'd try it again.
they have a website now, and I found a forum, where you can ask, and they try and help but they go by the lyrics people post, so I don't know how much information they hav eon their own playlists.
oh well...
you'd think after 12 years and all these computers and people calling them about songs they play, you'd think they'd have worked something out by now....

Johnathan and Darlene Edwards interview concerning their peculiar brand of music.

If you're familiar with them, you really should read this.

If you're not familiar with them, well, read it anyway and see where it leads you. Heh heh heh...

the theme song for the tv show firefly seems to be called "The ballad of serenity." Really like this song. The only one I found was 67 seconds long. Anybody know if there's a longer version than what's played on TV?

Ford - I'm a huge fan of it too. Let me know if you find anything.

The TV soundtrack to Firefly will be released this November. JUBILATION!!! The incidental music was one of things I loved most about the show (after, y'know, the characters, the dialogue, the concept...). SHINY.
::adds to Christmas/Birthday wish list::

I would guess that will be the most complete version of the main title available. Sadly, it doesn't look like it includes "The Ballad of Jayne Cobb" (unless it's interspliced in the larger track for that episode).

(On a nonmusical note, I started crocheting my very own bright orange "cunning" Jayne hat, because I am a huge dork.)

okay, I got one for you guys.
HEard a song while waiting on hold, sounded 50's ish, google knows not.
I only got a few lines here and there...

till the sky becomes a packet of stars
what a day for picking dasies
what a day for holding hands and being with you.
lazy days just right for laughing a away
people smile whever they go
what a day to be together
lazy days for you and me.

I was typing as I was listening so they're in order, but obviously I missed a lot of lines...
Anybody know where to search for lyrics?

"Lazy Day" by Spanky and Our Gang. It's a '60s tune.

He he he he...  "Holiday" combined with the Doctor Who theme song.  And it's even got Daleks in it.  Fabulous!

That's very, very cool... and I'm only familiar with the low-budget BBC bit of
the source material.
