"you are someone else, I am still right here" on "hurt" instead of "you or someone else, I am still right here".

just noticed that a song I was listening to said "I'm drinking a cup of tea with mint"
something deeply bizarre about Israeli music.

The number one song in Russa a few months ago was about a prostitute who gave her johns AIDS.... Isreali music isn't that weird.

okay. i feel much better. but I'm still confused about the song I heard recently in which a guy asked a girl over to eat an apple or sex...
or where he asks her (same song) to play backgammon or make love...
I'm convinced there is something wrong in this...

Actually, I'm more disturbed about a love song about a guy and his boots

"he bought them cheaply, they were filled with sand, he cleaned them with spirits every two hours, he fed them soup, when they threw up, he didn't say a word. He took them to a movie every two weeks. Until one day he awoke, still sleepy, and looked for his boots in the closet, but where they'd been, only socks remained..."

Then again, now I'm listening to a song about guys working in the personel office in the army, and they're reading the personel file on some chick and talking about how much they're in love with her - including her id #496351... color of eyes blue, hair color, chestnut, height 160 cm
weight - 58 kg....

blah blah... and this is a very old song...
(and yes, they actually mention her bust size someplace in the song)

Then again, it's better than an Egyptian top hit - "kill the Israelis" I swear it was top of the pop charts for like 2 months... somehow i found it less than comforting...

I saw a show where people were picking videos that they had trouble understanding the lyrics and the show corrected them, sorta like pop-up videos, only not as annoying...

Okay, I've got a misheard lyric. It's from an old rock song.
For years, I thought the words were "Don't know much about
history. Don't know much trigonometry. Don't know much about
algebra. (and here it comes) Don't know much about THE
FRENCH EYED COOK. So now, years later when the song, which I
now recall is called "What A Wonderful World It WOuld Be,"
has been digitally transferred, I heard a very clear digital
recording of it. And sure enough, the words were "Don't know
much about THE FRENCH I TOOK. :) Oh, and it's a Sam Cook
record.

I like "Slow motion Walter... The fire Engine guy"
which is really "Smoke on the water... The fire in the sky"

For a while I thought it was "Long Lost Wuthering Heights" ---- "Long Lost Brother of Mine" (by anderson, bruford, wakeman, and howe a.k.a YES only without some people).... Couldn't figure out what a dumb book had to do with it. but it sounded high-brow.

melody: could be. I certainly didn't like it with lots of words, small print, and no pictures.
maybe more plot and less description could help too.
