I'm the one bashing VW, not IG.
And, I own a Beetle.
Which is part of the reason I am trashing them.
Well, Ig did say : "Yeah, 'cuz Internet Explorer makes you as cool as Volkswagen."
I've owned VW's myself - great cars, the Fox, The Rabbit, the Jetta, the Scirocco....
I happen to be a fan and have had my small amounts of trouble, but I just don't see any car in its class measuring up
. (the cars not the suv or passats or wagons, can't speak for those)
I love the cars, mostly.
But their service sucks, in my experience. They're great as long as you're warranteed. Get past that, and they suck rocks. They actually *broke* my car, and forced me to pay for it. If I had the time, I would have taken them to court over it.
With thanks to the Car Talk guys, because it's oh so true.
Am I a bad driver?
An important announcement follows.
ACTIVE DIRECTORY IS A BADLY DESIGNED PIECE OF CRAP.
Thank you for your attention. You may now resume your previously scheduled activities.
As mentioned earlier around here, I drive a Beetle.
But... as a driver, the only accident I have ever been involved in was when someone rear-ended me as I was trying to deliver a pizza (sorry, "'za", since this happened in Charlotte, NC, and it was a Domino's 'Za). I certainly didn't cause that... I was just waiting at the top of a hill to turn left.
And, yeah, AD sucks rocks. Microsoft makes everything Byzantine!
Not to get this room of topic, but wasn't there a huge war in herea while ago as to the only pizza being made was from New York?
Is that why you're calling it 'Za', fleeb?
I'm also of the opinion that New York isn't the end-all-be-all of Pizza...any place where you can find a corner pizzeria, owned and operated by a little old Italian family, can make good pizza.
Honestly, I don't really care about the whole pizza/'za debate. I view that whole thing as a form of entertainment, rather than something to take too seriously.
If you see a pumpkin, and have known it to be called a pumpkin for the majority of your life, but you come to some place where the people call it a radish, and insiste you call it a radish, I'll call it a radish. It doesn't really bother me one way or the other.
hm, yes, my eee forgot the lan connection too.
then i've installed debian.
