Anyone who would like to, check out Arjay's internet radio show "The Asylum" from 9PM to 11PM ET, go to http://www.midnightcaferadio.net for more information, links to the show, etc. And it's on Live 365 so it helps to set yourself up an account there too if you don't already have one. :)
He'll be followed up by Mona at 11PM ET doing "The Salad Bowl" if all goes according to plan. :)
(I didn't exactly do this justice but oh well... Arjay needs to make an internet radio room or something. *wink* *nudge*)

BTW...if anyone's feels that the system is a little sluggish, today, it's probably because I'm performing a kernel compile in another session, and this system's only running on a 300MHz PII.

Sorry.

No need to apologize. :)

Only?? That's a pretty good system, compared to a 486 :-)

Ok, then. Sorry if it bothers you...too damned bad!!!

Is that better?<wink>

True, Geo...but my other system...my workstation system...is a 1.4GHz Athlon...not usually as slow as this box can be...especially during a kernel compile. <G>

Hey, don't knock 486's......I used one up until about three years ago! :)

My least powerful system, at this point, is a 200MHz Pentium-MMX...and that's my firewall system.

My laptop is still an IBM 770 with a 133mhz '486 with 64meg of ram but it's running Suse. Once booted and loaded it's quite fast enough for anything I care to do mobile. Waiting for OpenOffice to load takes a while but only once.
