Apologies...we had to revert to an old backup...apparently, we lost our networking, somehow.

Needless to say, I'm not pleased.

Networking is neither desired nor missed but thanks for the notice.

I figured out what the problem was.

Apparently, the system didn't like the rss feed settings I put in for a personal room I had created.

Oops.

That must have been fun to diagnose.

Wish I'd figured it out earlier...wouldn't have necessitated a restoral of the data, only to have it happen, again.

One of the latter in every car, truck, motorcycle, bus or mechanized transport device. Argentines can't even walk, they wander seemingly wihtout purpose.

I don't recall mentioning this yet, but you can now connect to the Dog Pound BBS II via Jabber clinet.

In fact, I'm currently connected via Jabber client, for IM, and SSH'd in to post this message.

Howdy,

How does one connect here via Jabber?

Thanks,

SergeantPony

Well, one needs a jabber compliant client, and one connects to "dogpound2.citadel.org" with "username@dogpound2.citadel.org" and their password.

Jabber is just a chat/IM client, but  if you and your party are logged in here at the same time (via jabber, telnet/ssh/citadel client or webcit), you can chat/IM.
