Ah, home construction projects.  The JOY.  My next project will most likely be re-flooring the family room.  Slate I think will be the medium of my masterpeice.

Fun.

We'll lose connectivity again on Friday of this week, as they reroute some of the phone cabling, again

Why haven't you talked your employer into getting you a redundant line. ;)

It's the internal wiring that's being rerouted, not the external circuits.

Ah, so it is your fault that you don't have redundant rings of data and power running to your office... heh

My apologies for the ups and downs over the last several days.

Networking bug required frequent restarts with new versions being put into place, as well changing logging levels, so as to try to get the right data out there for analysis.

This last restart involved reducing the logging level, so as to do something to keep the logs size down a bit.

Hoping to keep the restarts limited, again, to new releases...expecting a release with the fix in place, shortly.

Ok...we're now at the officially released Citadel 7.24, which includes the fix for the networking bug that we were experiencing...I don't expect that we'll have to do anything for a while, until after the next release.

Yesterday, my firewall's hard drive died...as such, we were unavailable for an hour or so.

The hard drive was relaced, and the firewall rules rebuilt. Hopefully, all access has been restored.

Actually, the BBS was not in a happy place.

I think they're working on the bug.

So, do I upgrade?  I'm not sure I like the new web interface.  login screen doesn't scroll.. Had to TAB to get down to the login fields.

Actually, if you click into the login screen, you can scroll with the arrow keys, or even the space bar.

I've actually been able to do so without clicking.

Well, then, I suggest that you input a bug report into Bugzilla, against the CSS that creates the login screen.

Not sure what else to tell you.

Of course, if I didn't have that graphic and a long blurb, the login screen wouldn't be long enough to need to scroll.
