Bandstand is no longer there. It has gone out of business.

Well, if we keep moving more BBS'ers to the north side, then "centrally located" will gradually shift further north. (If only Bear & Romana, and Ian and Anony, hadn't all moved south the moment we bought a house up north *grin*)

American Bandstand restaurant DID indeed suck, food-wise, for a long time.
A year or so ago, we checked it out again and the food had gotten pretty good... a change in management had apparently helped.
But it was a case of "too little, too late", I guess, as the restaurant has now shut down completely. My wife and I thought about trying to sneak out with the "Abbey Road" album cover signed by Paul McCartney (it would look FABULOUS in my music room!), but alas, the waiter told us we could never get away with that. :)

Four words: Mongolian BBQ is delicious!

I must admit, I haven't had the taste for Mongolian BBQ since getting either food poisoning or a bad stomach flu (still not sure which... probably stomach flu) soon after eating there this past winter.

I have a nice memory of the one time I went to AB Grill -- I met a woman there who I dated for several months, the sister of a woman I worked with. :)

The Mongolian BBQ is a little expensive for a user meet as well.

Charles, myself, and another couple all went to Stuart Anderson's last weekend.
We had a coupon for lobster tail, shrimp, steak, ribs, cheese bread, salad, and a baked potato for $15.99 each. It was actually pretty good. I learned I am *not* allergic to seafood, and shrimp is pretty good. I don't like lobster though. :)

I only go to SAs when they have a special or a coupon though. They gave us another coupon for 2 steak dinners and an appetizer and dessert for $30.
We're all going back next month. :)

A good Italian Place is Carrabba's...one here on the southside and one in Carmel.

I saw the one in Carmel...never been in one, though. We had a couple in my area back home, too...it is a thought.

I got tired of Macaroni Grill (there's one of those nearby, too)

Freakdog: Some how I don't think so. Some of our members wouldn't be real apprecitive of the um, atmosphere.

It's amazing what businesses advertise, locally, on the Bob and Tom show, isn't it? <wink>

Not just on Bob & Tom. Try listening to X103 in the afternoons with Adam Ritz.

BTW Adam Ritz = Thwack. What is really funny is his onair "personality" is not married.

Didn't know that... I always assumed his on-air personality WAS married, and just added to his @$$hole image by hitting on women anyway.

Nope, Christy has said that in the past, that his on air personallity is not married. Bob & Tom think it is funny.
