Well, I think I had the same problem in another room recently, when Campy typed "shot" when he probably meant "short"...

Nuttin' beats the smell of alcohol and charred redneck flesh like the Brickyard 400! Come to Indianapolis! :) (even tho the track is really in Speedway ;) )

!50 + people were treated for heat and sun at the Brickyard.

That's all? I figured the 96+ (103 index) would have caused problems for many more people. The Track temp was over 135! The dash boards on the cars were about 150+ A little more then toasty.

I somehow ended up making several wrong turns Saturday night and ended up at the track. I thought I'd somehow ended up in Georgia...then I realized it was just Nascar fans. :P

I could do without the race and the inevitable traffic nightmare that it brings.

Many would be surprised that us Hoosiers don't see too many "red" "necks" very often. ;)

stacy,
Until two months ago, I owned a house just north of 34th, and just east of Georgetown Rd. Less then a mile from the north gate.... you want to talk about traffic nitemares... three races a year will annoy anyone.

Right! It was bad enough around 34th & 465 even back when there was only *one* race a year... that's one thing I definitely *don't* miss about the west side.
