"A MAil Virus Scanner"...integrates as a content filter (your MTA feeds it messages for scanning and it feeds the message back to your MTA), and works with just about all Linux capable virus scanning engines.

It does pretty much the same thing as "mailscanner".

I keep getting a lot of Loopzapper rejections on Global Address Book messages from Uncensored, again. This morning, I got 27. And then, to top it off, I seem to be passing along messages to Pixel that, while not loopzapped here, do get loopzapped over at Pixel, instead. What's going on?

There's a loop somewhere, that's what's going on.

There will be a short downtime, this evening, as I relocate my server and firewall to my new house and new internet connection.

Unlike last July, the move isn't across 600 or so miles, so it won't last for days...probably just a couple of hours.

We're back...actually had to "reregister" my system when I went from a straight connection between laptop and cable modem to firewall and cable modem...but we're working. And, it would seem that my new cable modem ISP doesn't block anything either. No complaints from me.

I've officially turned off networking to "nocarrier" and "wwjp".

"nocarrier" hasn't been available for months, and the sysop is, as of yet, unavailable, as well.

"wwjp" might come back, at some point, once Campy figures out what he's going to do with his systems and situation.

Until then, I'm also removing both from the citadel.org zone file.

Fine by me. I can't seem to keep the citadel/ux software running for more then a week at a time w/o db curruption. I even re built a box, and did a clean install. Didn't add any rooms, just let the box run un-attended w/ no external IO and it still crashed. I have the anti-midas touch..

Well, there's a new version out ... I suggest you keep doing it until the anti-midas touch stops working.

Isn't that what Microsoft customer service recommends for bugs?

Microsoft allegedly has a paid staff of testers. In a software project as small as this one, we have to rely on friends like Campy to find the more subtle bugs we don't turn up ourselves.
