no matter what i say about my commute this morning, still suffering
the effects of mild heat exhaustion, it was still nice to not be
chained to a car. driving sucks, and i wish there were more places in

this country one could live without having to rely on a car.

I like driving. Each to their own.

That would be illegal in the UK. One is not allowed to alter the tread in any way after market. For lorry tyres one can buy regroovable tyres. Basically one wears them out then cuts new tread but one must stick to the original tread pattern.

You want a small SUV - try the Lada Niva (also known as the Lada Cossack or Lada Hussar). It's got 4x4, and the ones I've seen, they're great little vehicles.

I'm not sure which is smaller, the Suzuki Samurai or the Lada Niva, but I know I'd choose the Niva in a heartbeat.

that why you're selling the wrx?

No, he actually would deny me that choice. You can comment on what I

drive all you want.

I don't agree much with RD, but I have to say, don't think about taking away choice of vehicles.
I like to drive. A lot. I buy gas guzzlers. My wrx gets 24mpg at it's absolute best.
You can take away the speed limits though.

If you want a shear terror ride, try out the Z06 Corvette. A blip of the throttle and she's sideways. :)

yeah but its... its... american.

I somehow doubt they'd let me test drive one, and the only guy I know who has a corvette doesn't even drive it himself, let alone let me drive it.

Other than shitty guages, I think you'd really enjoy it. The guages are really pathetic.

I drove one of those 6.0 liter firebirds once (or was it 5 liter?) anyway, I was surprised by it.
It was low to the ground, had little body roll and turned on a dime (it had such goddamned fat tires) but you could tell that there was a lot of power compensating for a very very heavy car.
At the time (this was 10 years ago I think) I was driving my gti, light and nimble, so it was weird by comparison, but anyway, I gather that's what driving a corvette is like, but moreso.
Heavy but with lots of power and stiff suspension to compensate.

The Corvette doesn't feel heavy in comparison to a Firebird.

It's a very unique animal.
