Try humping a water bed (no, not humping on a water bed, humping the bed itself.)

Has anyone else ever noticed chest hairs poking through their shirt?

I'm talking about a nice, polo-style shirt, not one of those mesh shirts.

Sometimes I notice some of my chest hairs pushing their way through the in search of some sun (which, sadly, it finds denied to it still, as I don't tend to spend a lot of time in sunlight).

I'm afraid, fleeb, that I've experienced that phenomenon.

Depends on the construction of the shirt ... if it's pique, then no. If it's woven, then I've had a hair or two poke through on a couple of occassions.

Yea, i know 'zactly what you're talkingabout . I've experrienced it myself. Fortuantely, i don't relaly need to wear polo shirts often (thank god, i hate 'em).

Oh, here's a tip to help with the hair problem, especially if you tend to be more on the heruiste (sp?) side of things (fortunately, I only have a few hairs on my chest and I don't really wear polo shirts all that often -- either T or button-down): wear a T-shirt under the polo shirt. In order to conceal that you're wearing one, V-necks are best for this purpose.

aka undershirt?

nadia, yeah ... preferably a very nice, smooth, tightly-woven one, ala Polo's undershirts. :-)

so in other words, it's all about the undershirt...

Actually it's more about the weave of the shirt but wearing an undershirt certainly comes in handy, for more than one reason (one's chest hairs usually aren't long/strong enough to poke through two layers of clothing; undershirts also help minimize/prevent underarm sweat stains; undershirts in summertime actually help with cooling off process (provided that they're made of 100% cotton/natural fibers).

Fortunately, my chest hairs are too thin to be of any serious conseequence.
They peep through the shirt occasionally, but they don't try to start conversations.

You could always shave your chest, or trim.
