I used to love astronaut ice cream. It probably tastes like slightly sweet styrofoam.

mmmm... styrofoam. I like the water-soluble packing peanuts. Those don't taste too bad IMO.

Do you eat 'em straight, kinda like pork rinds, or do you dissolve them in water to make a sort of cereal out of them?

Actually, air-popped popcorn makes a quite nice packing material. As long as you don't put any butter or salt on it, it won't go bad -- just stale, which is fine for this application.

I just eat 'em plain. Pre-soaking totally takes out all the fun.
Not to mention the fact that you're eating packing peanuts.

Those packing peanuts are, IIRC, puffed corn... they are completely edible,
except for the fact that they're not intended to be eaten and are probably
not hygienic.

Here in the UK there's a type of crisp called Cheesy Wotsits that are
essentially the same thing, with flavouring.

They predate the packing material, if anyone at all cares. Which I doubt.

We have cheese puffs here in the US, too. Someone should do a special for scary recipes people actually make that should never be perpetrated on how to make your own cheese puffs from packing peanuts and Mac & Cheese mix. Combine in a large paper bag, fold over, and shake.

Although in recent years they are now often referred to as "cheesy poofs"

I'm wearing a band-aid on my finger right now. I don't remember cutting myself, but evidently I did because I was bleeding.

My wife is allergic to latex so she bought these cloth-like band-aids. They're *really* comfortable and they seem to stay in place much better than the plastic ones. And I don't feel like it's cutting off my circulation either.

Someone should create a university named "Figure Imagination University", that has a football team.

Their cheerleaders could yell, "Gooooo Figure!"
