That includes turkey bacon. A seriously fake meat.
I like turkey bacon for the same reason I like veggie burgers. It's no substitute for the real thing, but it's tasty in its own right. And useful in many of the same applications.
Turkey burgers are too bland but a Mediterranean turkey burger is great.
Mix the ground turkey with mint, parsley, cumin, garlic, paprika, coriander, and let it marinate for a few
hours, grill and serve it with a cucumber/yogurt sauce.
Veggie burgers can be a palatable form of soy protein.
Some of them taste dreadful.
None of them really taste like burgers or whatever they're "supposed" to be.
As for Omega-3, there are vegan versions (made from flax seed)
The mediterranean turkey burger sounds delish. Of course, there's not much out there that wouldn't be improved by putting tzatziki sauce on it. I was eating Greek yogurt long before it was a food fad. My mother also claims to be ahead of that fad but she's lying. What I'm just catching up with now is the use of Greek yogurt as a substitute for sour cream. It isn't always appropriate but sometimes it's perfect. Yesterday we mixed it with chives and used it as a dip for grilled potato wedges.

I'm guessing anaphylactic shock is more of a problem than under-exposure to Omega-3s
If you don't eat fish, take fish oil capsules..... How does that work with a fish allergy?

restaurants in the area. When I saw it in the grocery store many years ago I started using it. I didn't know it
was a thing because I always used it.
