Man gulps down 15-pound burger with toppings

A chef at a western Pennsylvania Italian restaurant ate a 15-pound burger with 5.2 pounds of toppings in 4 hours and 39 minutes. Brad Sciullo, of Uniontown, is the first person to successfully eat the huge burger at Denny's Beer Barrel Pub , said pub owner Dennis Liegey.

The burger — called the Beer Barrel Belly Bruiser — include a bun, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, mild banana peppers and a cup each of mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and relish.

I have a hard time reconciling "Italian Restaurant" with "15 Pound Burger".

I've seen this burger before.  I`m i n awe of it, but I do wonder if you could order it without condiments.  I hate mayo.

I think the guy who ate it works in the Italian restaurant. But the burger itself is from another place.

Bid to create world's largest sandwich in Iran fails after crowd eats it before it can be measured

he meat had been cooked, the sandwich almost assembled and assorted Guinness Book of Records dignitaries were patiently waiting by to give it their official stamp of approval.

But cooks in Iran were left in despair after their bid to create the world's longest sandwich failed when the crowd started eating it before it could be measured.

Event organisers had planned to stuff the 1,500-metre-long sandwich with 700 kg  of ostrich meat and 700 kg of chicken, and display it in a park in the capital Tehran.
