Normally I would just drive over to the local sushi hut and quench my sushi thirst BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO I can't drive...
I will definitely blame aahz.
Are you desparate enough to ask your boss to get you sushi?

Heaven is where...
Nope. Heaven is where the French bathe regularly. Preferably more than once a month.
The lovers are French

whew, that was a hot chili. $brother and formorer did a spicy job.
what is it?!
and I'm addicted to sunnyside up eggs.
Really good in marinades.
So, I'd been thinking I should get some decent knives for cooking. I've been thinking this a long time, but waffling about what to get. I kept thinking I should buy some really nice knives, since such things are so important in a decent kitchen.. but I just couldn't make up my mind.
Today, though, I saw these 'professional cutlery' knives (a 2-pack) at Sam's Club for only $12 or so. I figured, well, hell, I don't know if they're very good, but they *seem* like they might be nice, and they've very inexpensive. So, I bought them.
Stain-free, High-carbon German steel, an 8" and 10" knife. They have polypropylene handles, so I don't have to deal with wood rotting or something. And they seem pretty sharp. Melvin has already cut himself with one of them... I'm hoping it's not a sign of things to come.
He says they're a hit, though... much better than what we had.
