Subject: citserver segfaults on libcrypto

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Good afternoon,

I installed Citadel and Webcit on a Centos 6.5 (x86_64) server using the RPMs from download.opensuse.org:

c-ares.x86_64                      1.10.0-69.1           @home_homueller_citadel
citadel.x86_64                     8.24-6.2              @home_homueller_citadel
citadel-client.x86_64              8.24-1.2              @home_homueller_citadel
citadel-common.x86_64              8.24-6.2              @home_homueller_citadel
citadel-doc.x86_64                 8.24-6.2              @home_homueller_citadel
citadel-lang.x86_64                8.24-6.2              @home_homueller_citadel
citadel-mta.x86_64                 8.24-6.2              @home_homueller_citadel
citadel-selinux.x86_64             1.0.77-7.2            @home_homueller_citadel
libcitadel4.x86_64                 8.24-1.2              @home_homueller_citadel
libical.x86_64                     0.4

When I start citadel (/etc/init.d/citadel start), I get the following in /var/log/messages:

Sep 16 16:48:07 sip kernel: citserver[13651]: segfault at 7fba79a64d78 ip 00007fb9282548cc sp 00007fffb5d12570 error 4 in libcrypto.so.1.0.1e[7fb9281b0000+1b5000]

I get ten of the above messages every five seconds. The memory address (as well as ip and sp fields) remain static for all messages although the PID (obviously) changes.

/usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.1e is owned by openssl-1.0.1e-16.el6_5.15.x86_64.

Any suggestions?

Please disregard my previous message. I restarted the server and, magically, Citadel started working.

dieselweasel, I don't know about the patch level of OpenSSL on your distro, but you might want to check it against the Heartbleed bug.  Might just be scanning from bots to the calls that are added to the OpenSSL 1.0.1 series though if you are patched.

Hi All,

I've found the email I subscribed with but when I try to unsubscribe I
get the following error.

------------
Confirmation failed.
This could mean one of two things:

You waited too long to confirm your subscribe/unsubscribe request
(the confirmation link is only valid for three days) You have
already successfully confirmed your subscribe/unsubscribe request
and are attempting to do it again.

The error returned by the server was: You need to specify the email
address you'd like to subscribe with. You need to specify the email
address you'd like to subscribe with. Invalid token.
------------

I definitely clicked the unsubscribe button?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Subject: Mail isnt delivered correctly so a single account.

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Ive recently setup a Citadel server and the following issue bugs me to no end.

One of the accounts never recieve the mail. It simply never arrives in the inbox, but i can see it in the Aides room. The issue is only with that one account, and its a rather important account. I have tried removing the account and creating it again, but that doesnt fix the issue.

Bonus question: Is there any way to mark a mail in the inbox, in webcit? Its really annoying that i cant see if someone else has already responded to a mail recieved without having to look throught the 'Sent' room.

try issuing sendcommand IGAB

and/or editing the users vcard whether this fixes the issue.

no, individual message flags more than 'read' aren't supported.

Subject: dumb question about past installation method

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Don't laugh. But, how do I know if I have installed a particular client's citadel by either running the "easy install" script or by using Ubuntu apt-get debs method.

I know it has to do with the location of where the citadel directories are, I just don't remember where. This client's servers been in place since the start of the 8.x.x series. I just don't remember the method I used during the install. This client is running 8.0.5 and I'd like to update it to a newer version. I just want to make sure I update it properly.

Also, the reason to update it is due to a sieve processing error one user is getting. Emails are forwarded to a different account, yet there are no rules in webcit's "view/edit server side filters" listed. However, when I ensure to select "leave it in my inbox without filtering", click save and exit, when I go back to "view/edit server side filters", I get greeted with a "filter through a manually edited script" dialog screen. I even deleted the account, and the account to where mail is forwarded to, recreated the account, and yet the sieve processing rules are back in place. It was as if the original account wasn't deleted recursively, and when recreated, picks up the rules of the account under the same name.

So, I have two issues, but I figured I'd can nail two birds with one stone by just updating. I just want to make sure I update properly

Subject: Wrong time in created appointments and appointment display in calendar

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Hello,

I installed citadel ( citadel-suite 8.14-dfsg-1) on a raspberry pi.

Timezone of linux on the Pi is Europe/Berlin. When I create a new appointment through the webinterface,

the appointment is created actually with a time offset of 2 hrs. The display in the daily calendar

is also incorrect, it starts at the start time of the created appointment but ends 1:30 hrs later than

the appointment ends.

E.g. I create an appointment 1pm - 4pm

It is created as 3pm - 6pm (+2 hrs) and shown in the daily calendar as a box from 3pm - 7:30pm.

My browser is Chromium and the client machine is Ubuntu with timezone Europe/Berlin.

I assume it is some issue with timezone settings, but I have no idea where to look further.

Thanks for your reply.

I have one other question.

I have to share 5 inboxes to 4 users. Sharing it is no issue, i invite a user, the inbox shows up under that users list of Rooms. However, now the room is called "0000000013.Mail". I need it to be XYZ-Inbox. How do i do that?

If i enter the room, click advanced, click edit or delete this room and click configuration, under name it says "Mail". Changing that does nothing however.

Subject: A question about customizing login.html

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Hi everyone,

I'm developing groupware with citadel on ubuntu server 12.04

When i customize login screen , i can't understand some tags.

The contents in login.html are as below

<?=("head")>
< !-- start login.html -->
< noscript><div id="noscript_warning">
< ?_("WARNING: You have JavaScript disabled in your web browser.  Many functions of this system will not work properly.")>
< /div></noscript>
< div id="login_screen">
< div class="box">
< div class="boxlabel"><?SERV:HUMANNODE> - <?_("powered by")> <a href="http://www.citadel.o...itadel</a></div>
< div class="boxcontent">
< div id="hellomsg">
< ?SERV:MESG("hello")>

What is that mean The hilighted tag <?SERV:HUMANNODE> ?

Now i'm using apache2 for http server , php 5.3.10 for php parser and mysql on ubuntu server 12.04

Is there anyone who have any idea about this?

Thank you in advance.

All you have to do is press the link button in the editor and type the name of another page as the link. That's all there is to it!

Go to page: First ... 14 15 16 17 [18] 19 20 21 22 ... Last
