There is no 'anonymous prompt' in WebCit. When anon-option is enabled in a
room, 'Anonymous' is offered as a selection in the drop-down list of usable
screen names when composing a message.

Tested in svn head to ensure that this option is still in working order.

If an address matches both a 'masq domain' and a 'directory domain',
IsDirectory() now returns it as a directory domain regardless of which order
they appear in the configuration. This fixes a problem found earlier today on
a site that had overlapping domain declarations, and entries weren't being
added to the directory index. Fixed in r7011.

Tested as of r7094 using imapsync with a UW-IMAP server as the source server
and Citadel as the destination server. Messages containing no Subject: field
now seem to be given a subject of "(no subject)".

I tested using the 'problematic mbox' attachment as the source, but after
noticing that it contains subjects I removed some of them. It still seems to
work. I don't know if this has since been fixed in Citadel or in imapsync, but
it's working now.

revisiting in the future though.

Bugzilla – Bug 395
vCards from TBird via SyncKolab don't show address etc.
Last modified: 2008-10-07 19:24:47 EST

In the last few days I have run across the above bug (see
http://bugzilla.citadel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395), and have also been in
touch with Bynari as it affects their connector too.

It is only apparent when you run a mixed environment of Outlook or
Thunderbird, and WebCit clients.

I'm unsure if the bug has actually been assigned yet as the "Assigned
To" field on the bug report simply says "Citadel Bug Tracking room
<room_citadel_bug_tracking@uncensored.citadel.org>".

Can you shed any light on this? Has anyone been assigned to the bug? Any
idea regarding possible resolution?

Thanks.

Summary: Ungoto button does not run through history...only
through two most recent rooms
Product: WebCit
Version: 7.xx
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P5
Component: General
AssignedTo: room_citadel_bug_tracking@uncensored.citadel.org
ReportedBy: mburger@bubbanfriends.org

Webcit7.38b (and probably earlier versions), when clicking the ungoto button,
the user is cycled between the current room and the most recently visited room,
previous to that.

Example:

User starts at Lobby, goes to Mail, then goes to Citadel Support, then goes to
Non Sequitur, then to Lobby.

Clicking ungoto takes user from Lobby back to Non Sequitur.

Clicking ungoto, again, takes the user from Non Sequitur back to Lobby.

Expected behavior, if meant to model the ungoto behavior of the text client,
would be to go in order from Lobby, back to Non Sequitur, back to Citadel
Support, then back to Mail, and finally back to Lobby, again.

I'm going over this bug now and noticed that it specifies "phone" for a
vCard telephone number. vCard wants to use "tel" not "phone". Is
Thunderbird really using "phone"? What about Bynari?

Citadel accepts both "tel;home" and "tel;type=home" but not "phone".

Admittedly we should (and will!) be a little more careful about
parameter handling, but let's figure out who's doing what, first...

Thunderbird seems to be using the following:

Not too sure about Bynari, but guess it will be this, as it has to keep Outlook
happy:
